Help Game keeps going blank

Whenever i play the screen goes blank and all i can see is the background and no textures or people.
This doesn't happen immediately.
I have reinstalled the entire client several times, followed many detailed instructions but every time i start the game up in about the time i can log on and select a character the game goes "blank".
